You start with the question, not the chart
An asset, a doubt or a thesis. APEX adds the market context, the fundamentals and your own history, and challenges the thesis before you decide.
An investor does not start with a chart
They start with a company they are interested in, a doubt about the valuation, a piece of news that made them think or a position they already hold and are unsure whether to keep. None of that is a screenshot.
For a long time APEX opened by asking for exactly that: upload your chart. For someone who trades over days it is the right question — it is literally where their work starts. For someone who invests over years it was the wrong question, asked before any other, and it forced them to translate an investment decision into the vocabulary of a trade.
Investment Mode changes where you start. The first question becomes “what do you want to understand or decide?”, and the chart becomes what it always was for an investor: one more input, useful when the doubt is the entry timing and not the thesis.
Read the journey
Investment Mode goes through market, context, portfolio, watchlist and asset analysis. The question starts from the investment and its thesis.
Trader Mode starts from the setup and organizes entry, stop, target, size and the follow-up of the trade. The film links the record with an observation about earlier decisions.
Both journeys share APEX Intelligence. What changes is the order of the work and the question you want to answer; your history keeps adding context. The screens and figures in the film are illustrative scenes, not live data.
Five things, and none is a new feature
Investment Mode does not add a parallel engine. It is the same APEX, organized around how an investor decides.
- The first question
- The analyzer opens with Analyze an investment: the asset, what you are considering, how much you put in, your thesis and how you arrive at the decision. No screenshot. If you also have a chart, you add it.
- The thesis, as an object
- With its declared horizon —weeks, months or more than a year— written inside the thesis itself, visible and editable. APEX challenges it: what you rely on, what would invalidate it and what would have to happen for you to change your mind.
- The vocabulary
- Trade Tracker is called Positions and History is called Decisions, because that is what they contain for an investor. Same screen and same data, with the name you would use.
- The context that was already measured
- Market context with its timestamp, fundamental analysis, news with its age and your own history. All of this already existed: what changes is that it is now the frame, not a complement to the chart.
- What does not change
- Your plan, your credits, your data and all your features. The mode neither unlocks nor locks anything: chart analysis, the Trade Tracker and everything else are still there, one click away.
The thesis follows the position.
Positions, movements and reasoning together. When you come back to an asset, you can review what you decided and why.
From the question to the learning
What sets APEX apart from asking a generic AI is not the analysis: it is that the analysis stays tied to what you did next.
- 01You understand
What is happening around that asset, with the time each data point was measured.
- 02You analyze
The specific decision you are considering, not the market in the abstract.
- 03You decide
You. APEX challenges the thesis and gives you the counter-evidence; it does not issue an order.
- 04You record
The position with its thesis, its risk and its target, before executing it.
- 05You learn
When you close it, APEX separates the decision from the result: winning does not validate a bad process.
That cycle is what feeds APEX Intelligence, which turns your decisions into falsifiable hypotheses with evidence and measured confidence. And it works the same in both modes: it is the same brain.
What this mode will not give you
You record your buys and sells by hand or import the file your broker exports, and APEX measures the value, result and performance of your portfolio. It does not hold assets, execute orders or manage your portfolio for you. Connecting a broker, where available, is optional and read-only.
The calendar shows the next earnings and dividend dates of the assets you follow or hold, and a curated list of dates from the official macro calendar. There is no source for splits or market holidays, nor the exact time of each event: APEX states this on screen instead of estimating it.
In both modes, APEX can generate AI-assisted analyses specific to the decision or asset, including verdicts, scenarios or levels. It does not execute trades or move funds. Investing involves risk of loss.
Choose your mode the first time you sign in
And change it whenever you want from Settings. If you do both, you can have both.
No card required. APEX does not execute trades: the decision is still yours.
